Welcome Our New Rector

Prof. Dr. Jean Paul Van Marissing, Campus Director

Jean Paul van Marissing has been named rector for Webster University Georgia, effective Aug. 1. 

“Dr. van Marissing is our longest-serving international campus director, with 15 years leading Webster Leiden,” said Vice President for Academic Affairs Nancy Hellerud. “He has the experience and know-how to usher in the next phase of Webster Georgia.”

Hellerud was the founding Rector, with Emin Hajiyev overseeing campus operations in Tbilisi as Vice Rector.
